Kalthof, Hanley Garner All-Region Accolades

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Two members of the York College women's soccer program, Meg Kalthof and Mackenzie Hanley, have earned All-Region V honors as announced by the United Soccer Coaches.

Both Kalthof and Hanley earned spots on the Region V Second Team with Kalthof earning her way as a forward and Hanley as a defender.

Kalthof, the 2025 Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Year, led the Commonwealth with a career-high 15 goals through the regular season and conference postseason play, while also racking up a league-high six game-winning goals and compiling 33 points which finished second in the conference. Her 15 goals rank as the second-most in program history, while her game-winning goal total tied the program record and her 33 points ranks as the third-most.

Kalthof is the first player in program history to earn three all-region honors after garnering second-team honors as both a freshman and sophomore. She is also a three-time first-team all-conference honoree and the only player in program history to earn multiple conference Player of the Year honors.

Hanley led a Spartan defense which put together its best performance in over a decade. She powered a unit that allowed the third-fewest amount of goals (13) in program history to go along with a 0.65 goals-against average and 12 shutouts which is the third-most clean sheets in York history.

This is Hanley's first all-region selection and became just the 14th different player in program history to earn a spot on an all-region team.
