Jolakian Earns MAC Player of the Year Award

NEWTOWN, Pa. - Spartan junior Victoria Jolakian has been named the Middle Atlantic Conference Women's Golfer of the Year as announced by the MAC office on Wednesday afternoon.

New this season, awards were nominated and voted on by the 11 conference women's golf coaches. Under the previous format, the highest finishing golfer and highest finishing rookie at the conference championship were named the Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year.

Jolakian put together a dominant campaign that was defined by her ability to close out tournaments, a trait that culminated in an individual title at the 2026 MAC Championship. The junior owns a stellar 79.38 scoring average, the benchmark for a season that included three individual victories, a trio of top-five finishes and five top-10 performances. She posted a low round of 74 at the Knights Invitational back on September 8.

Jolakian has racked up the conference hardware throughout her career as she is three-time First Team All-MAC Performer, the 2024 MAC Rookie of the Year and now a Player of the Year recipient.

Stevenson's Callie Dias was named the 2026 MAC Rookie of the Year and Hood College head coach Thomas Chatfield was voted the MAC Coach of the Year by his peers.
