Spartan Women Make Strides in Weekend Meets

PHILADELPHIA/LANCASTER, Pa. – The York women's track and field team captured four top-10 performances this weekend as the team competed at both the Widener Evening Winter Invite on Friday and F&M's Coach I Open on Saturday.

Top Performers
Lindsay Fry had the top overall performance of the weekend for the Spartans as she finished fifth in the 5K at F&M on Saturday. Her time of 19:27.31 lifted her to sixth in the Middle Atlantic Conference this season.

Isabel Tenney, Kayla Reidenbaugh, Payton Mann, Keziah Boyce combined for the team's top time of the season in the 4x400 relay on Saturday. Their pace of 4:18.47 is good for third in the MAC this season.

Alita Paragon matched her season-best height with a vault of 3.20m on Friday which keeps her in a tie for third in the MAC. Paragon also finished 12th in the pole vault and 22nd in the high jump on Saturday.
