To celebrate Women's History Month, members of York College's first-ever Women's Wrestling team sat down to discuss what being part of this inaugural team means to them.

In the fall of 2023, York College joined a limited number of NCAA colleges and universities where women's wrestling competes as a varsity-level sport. The athletes ushering in this first wave of Spartan women's wrestling are well aware of the roles they play — as both competitors and role models.

To cap off the inaugural season, freshman Maura White will be representing the Green and White at the NCWWC National Championships in Iowa on March 8-9.
