ANNVILLE, PA - York senior track & field athlete Julia Pena was tabbed the MAC Women's Field Athlete of the Week as announced by the conference office Monday.

Pena had York's top finish of the weekend as she placed third in the pole vault at Bucknell's Bison Outdoor Classic which was comprised primarily of Division I competitors. Pena posted a height of 3.80m (12' 5.5") which matches her outdoor PR and is just 0.01 meters below her overall PR. Her height also moves her into a tie for fifth nationally this season. Pena also nabbed a top-10 finish in the 100m hurdles as she finished ninth with a time of 14.68 seconds.

This is Pena's first outdoor conference weekly honor this year and her eighth overall in 2022-23.
