Pena Earns Fourth MAC Weekly Honor of Season

The Spartan senior honored by the conference for third-consecutive week

ANNVILLE, PA - York senior track & field athlete Julia Pena was named the MAC Women's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week for the third-straight week and fourth time this season as announced by the conference office Monday morning.

Pena carried the banner for the Green and White at the Min-Dip Invitational Friday night as she won all three events she competed in which were the 60m hurdles, long jump and pole vault. Pena lowered her own school record by 0.01 in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.98 which is good for second in the Middle Atlantic Conference this season. Pena now has eight wins this season including four in the pole vault and three in the long jump.
