Box Score YORK, Pa. – The York College men's lacrosse team put forth a dominating effort in a 20-1 victory over Washington & Jefferson College in the 2016 home opener on Saturday at Kinsley Field.

How it happened:
- The Spartans jumped out to a 7-0 lead in the opening quarter with six different players tallying goals. Freshman Brendan McGrath tallied two goals in the first quarter, including the first of his career, and finished with a game-high four goals.
- York continued to pour on the offense in the second quarter with four more goals. Cameron Leech scored the first goal of the quarter for his first collegiate tally and now has points in back-to-back games.
- The Spartans continued to wrack up the goals in the second half as they posted six in the third quarter. Freshman Robert McGurrin tallied his first collegiate goal and senior Andrew Warburton tallied his first goal of the season.
- In the fourth quarter, Chuck Addis became the fourth freshman of the day to tally his first collegiate goal. Dan Mangle also tickled the twine for his first goal of the season.
