Notes
The Spartans are now 4-3 all-time against the Hornets and have won the last four meetings with Lynchburg … York is 7-1 in road games this season while Lynchburg finishes the season 9-2 on their home field … the Spartans extended the program's second-longest win streak to 17 games which is one win shy of matching the program record set in 2022 … York improves to 16-9 all-time in NCAA postseason play and is 1-1 against Lynchburg in those games … York's top-10 scoring defense held Lynchburg's third-best scoring offense to their second-lowest goal total of the season after entering Sunday's game averaging nearly 19 goals per game … Cory Bergmann put together a whale of a game for York as he racked up a career-best 10 points on five goals and five assists; Bergmann's 10 points is tied for the second-most in program history and is the most in an NCAA postseason game by a Spartan.
