CHESTERTOWN, Md. - The York College Spartans men's soccer team traveled to Washington College, Tuesday evening. The Spartans dropped the match to the Shoremen, 2-0.

How it Happened
The Spartans came out firing off 10 shots in the first half, while holding the Shoreman to just three. The Shoreman, however, were able to out-number the Spartan defense to score the first goal of the game in the 43rd minute.
Washington scored an insurance goal in the 78th minute of the match.
York again had outshot the Shoremen in the second half, 12-6. The Spartans also had six corners, compared to Washington's zero.
Aiden Hall and
Elaiwe Ikpi both had two shots on target for the Green and White.
Washington goalkeeper, Calvin Field, made nine saves.
Jake Bono made two saves in the net for the Spartans.
Spartan Notes
The Green and White are now 3-3-3 all-time against the Shoremen… This snaps York's four-game unbeaten streak… The Spartans now hold a 0-3-2 record on the road against Washington College.
