YORK, Pa. - York College men's soccer traveled up Route 83 to square off with Penn State-Harrisburg on Tuesday evening. After an early tally from the Nittany Lions, the Green and White scored four unanswered and held on for the 4-2 victory.

How it Happened
The Nittany Lions grabbed the early lead, opening the scoring in the 12th minute of play.
York didn't take much time to respond, as
Gavin Huey tied up the match in the 19th minute.
In the 28th minute,
Aiden Hall scored on a penalty kick opportunity to give the Spartans a 2-1 lead.
Talen Popolis added to the lead less than five minutes later, finishing off an assist from
Tannor Wiszneski, extending the lead to 3-1 heading into halftime.
After a quiet start to the second half of play, York College found the back of the net yet again. In the 71st minute,
Hayden Whetsel buried the fourth Spartan goal of the evening.
Penn State-Harrisburg grabbed a late goal in the 75th minute to inch closer, but the Spartans held on for the 4-2 win.
Both teams had a plethora of chances throughout the match, totaling 34 shots. Each team recorded seven shots on target.
Jake Bono and
Brody Yakscoe split time in net for the Green and White, totaling five saves.
