Gorman Named to Men’s Golf Academic All-MAC Team

NEWTOWN, Pa. – York College sophomore Adam Gorman was honored with a spot on the 2026 Men's Golf Academic All-MAC Team as announced by the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) office on Wednesday. Gorman was one of 10 student-athletes recognized on the team.

The Spring Academic All-MAC teams recognize the top student-athletes both in the classroom and in athletic competition during the 2026 spring semester. The MAC sports information directors nominate and vote on the Academic All-MAC teams, giving 50 percent weight on both academic success and athletic success. A student-athlete must have a spring semester grade-point average (GPA) of 3.20 or higher to be eligible for the award.

Gorman, a business major, posted a 3.40 spring term GPA. The sophomore solidified his full-time role in the Spartan lineup this past season and earned first-team all-conference honors with a second place finish at the Commonwealth Men's Golf Championship. He owned a pair of top-five finishes throughout the season and carded a season-low round of 69 (-3) to clinch the individual title at the Spartan Spring Invitational.

This is Gorman's first Academic All-MAC selection. The Spartan men's golf program has garnered a total of 11 selections since joining the conference in 2021.
