GRANTHAM, Pa. – The York women's track and field team sits in fourth place in the standings after day one of the Middle Atlantic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships, hosted by Messiah, on Thursday.
Top Performances
Alita Paragon placed first and scored 10 points for the Spartans in Pole Vault. Paragon had a personal-best, clearing 3.50m.
Taylor Heie added 2.5 points in her sixth place finish in Pole Vault, clearing 3.10m.
The Spartans picked up four points as the 4x800m relay team finished fifth.
Isabel Tenney,
Lily Arnold,
Kayla Reidenbaugh, and
Ashlee Shafer combined for a time of 10:00.62.
Zada Marine led the way for York in the hammer throw. She placed 10th, tossing 39.89m.
Angelina Hammond represented York in the 10K, finishing in 15th place with a personal-best time of 44:41.32.
Madie O'Brien sits in fifth place in the heptathlon with 2013 points after day one.
