YORK, Pa. - The York Spartan baseball team traveled down to Stevenson on a Friday afternoon, squaring off in the second game of the series. The Green and White defeated the Mustangs, 6-1. The second game of the scheduled double-header will be played on Saturday.

Highlights
Stevenson grabbed an early 1-0 lead in the bottom half of the first inning.
York was quick to answer, grabbing a run of their own in the top of the second on a homer from
Alex Neeld.
In the top of the third,
Jacob Deimling singled in another run to give the Spartans the lead.
Neeld followed with a two-run double, extending the lead to 4-1.
An RBI single from
Luke Moser and a sacrifice bunt by
Brett Michael scored two more for the Green and White.
Dillon Michaloski tossed the complete game for York, allowing just one run on six scattered hits.
