SALISBURY, Md. - The York Spartan baseball headed south on Tuesday for a non-conference matchup with Salisbury University. The Green and White were defeated 14-5 by the Seagulls.

Highlights
Salisbury scored the first nine runs of the game over the first five innings.
The Spartans got on the board in the top of the sixth with a solo shot from
Jackson Ford.
Later in the inning,
Lucas Prendergast crossed the plate on an error.
Jacob Deimling blasted a two-run homer, drawing York within five at 9-4.
The Seagulls grabbed another run in the bottom of the sixth.
Ford scored on a passed ball in the seventh, helping the Green and White inch one run closer.
Salisbury went on to score the last five runs of the game, winning 14-5.
Jake Ludwig started on the mound for York, hurling the first 1.1 innings.
