YORK, Pa. - The No. 7 York men's lacrosse team extended their season win streak to 10 games and improved to 8-0 at home following an 18-5 triumph over Stevenson on Wednesday night.

Team Records
Stevenson: 5-8 (4-1 MACC)
#7 York: 13-1 (4-0 MACC)

Highlights
After a back-and-forth start, the Spartans ended the first half on a four-goal run to take a 10-4 halftime lead. The Spartan faceoff unit fueled the late run by winning all seven faceoffs in the second quarter and finished the first half with a 12-3 margin. York also dominated the ground ball battle, 22-7, in the first half in addition to a 31-12 shot advantage.

The teams swapped goals early in the third quarter with Stevenson cutting the margin back to six with 11:49 left in the third, but that would stand as the last Mustang goal of the game. York scored seven unanswered to end the game with Davis Fisher and Luke Popielaski each scoring a pair during that span.

Fisher paced the offense with a season-high seven points on a season-best five assists. Bear Evans led all players with a career-best eight ground balls, while his defensive teammate Jeff Mueller posted a team-high three caused turnovers. The Spartan faceoff unit dominated all night as they won 20 of 25 led by Brady Watts with 11 wins.
