#8 Men’s Lacrosse Wallops Widener on Saturday

CHESTER, Pa. - The No. 8 York men's lacrosse team racked up a season-best 22 goals and won their ninth-straight game following a 22-6 victory at Widener on Saturday.

Highlights
The Spartans put the game away early as they posted a first quarter shutout and ripped off nine-straight goals to start the game. Cory Bergmann fueled the opening game-clinching run with all five of his goals. York later put a bow on the win with a five-goal run which spanned the third and fourth quarters with Sean O'Reilly scoring the first and final goals on that run.

York compiled a season-high 22 goals and matched their season-high with 58 shots on the day. Bergmann led all players with his second five-goal game of the season and Nate Schilling posted a hat trick. The Spartan faceoff unit posted a season-high 23 faceoff wins with Brady Watts collecting 13 and 11 ground balls.
