SHENANDOAH, Va. – The York College baseball team traveled to Virginia to take on the Shenandoah University Hornets, Tuesday. The Green and White could only muster up three hits in the 10-0 loss to the Hornets.

How It Happened
The Spartans got their first hit in the top of the third inning when
Jackson Ford singled.Â
Lucas Prendergast got the second hit of the game for the Spartans, doubling down the right field line in the top of the sixth inning.Â
Matthew Wade hit a single for the Green and White in the top of the seventh inning.Â
CJ Scism got the start on the bump. In 3.2 innings, Scism allowed seven runs on nine hits and two walks. Six runs were earned. He struck out two Hornets.Â
Lane Berkey came in for relief, tossing 2.1 innings. He surrendered five hits while allowing three runs, and a walk. Berkey struck out one.Â
