READING, Pa. - The York College women's track and field team is tied for 10th out of 16 teams after capturing three top-eight finishes on Friday at the 2026 Middle Atlantic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships hosted by Alvernia University.

Highlights
Zada Marine had the top individual performance of the day as she finished eighth in the weight throw. The sophomore posted a top throw of 13.82m on her fourth attempt out of six which stands as a new personal best. 

The 4x200 relay team scored four points and took down a record as they finished fifth. The foursome of Trinity Batista-Anderson, Sperra Vittor, Tyana George and Angela Nuse established a new school record, taking down the previous record of 1:50.15 set in 2024.

The Spartans also picked up four team points in the distance medley relay as Lily Arnold, Camille Williams, Isabel Tenney and Kayla Reidenbaugh put together the team's best time of the season with a pace of 13:05.45.

Nuse lowered the school record in the 60m with a time of 7.96 to finish second in the prelims for Saturday's final. The previous record of 7.99 set by Jasmine Smith had stood since 2012.

Vittor finished first in the 60m hurdles prelims with a personal-best time of 9.03 which is also ranks best in the conference this season.
