Highlights
The two teams combined for five home runs on the day with Alex Neeld accounting for both of York's long balls. Neeld's first homer was a grand slam and punctuated a five-run first inning for the Spartans. He later hit a two-run blast in the third inning to put York ahead, 8-3.

The Cardinals countered with three runs in the third, highlighted by a two-run homer by Logan Eilbacher, and proceeded to score six more unanswered runs through the fourth, fifth and sixth innings.

Logan Potter picked up the win after he entered in the fourth inning and tossed 3.1 scoreless innings, allowing just one hit and struck out three with no walks. Potter, Brennan O'Keefe, Will Hanson and Jack Scholz, who earned his second save of the season, combined to toss six-straight scoreless frames to end the game while allowing just one hit.
