Men’s Track & Field Notches Two Wins at Shenandoah

WINCHESTER, Va. - The York College men's track and field team opened the new year with two wins and 21 top-five performances at the Kaye and JJ Smith Invitational hosted by Shenandoah University on Sunday.

Highlights
Andrew Manning nabbed an individual win for the Spartans in the weight throw with a personal-best throw of 15.59m which ranks fourth in the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) this season. Manning also finished fourth in the shot put with a toss of 13.38m.

The 4x200m relay team consisting of Jacob Evans, Hunter Moore, Trey Kunkle, Hamed Diallo captured a Spartan victory with a time of 1:34.46 which ranks second in the MAC this season.

Manning (WT, SP), Hamed Diallo (60m, 200m, 4x200), David Orellana (Mile, 4x400), Seth Topfer (800m, 4x400), Isaiah Adamson (PV, LJ), Hunter Moore (LJ, 4x200)  all nabbed multiple top-five finishes on the day.
