The Spring Academic All-MAC teams recognize the top student-athletes both in the classroom and in athletic competition during the 2026 spring semester. The MAC sports information directors nominate and vote on the Academic All-MAC teams, giving 50 percent weight on both academic success and athletic success. A student-athlete must have a spring semester grade-point average (GPA) of 3.20 or higher to be eligible for the award.

Apsley qualified academically for the award with a 3.40 spring term GPA while working towards his degree in criminology & criminal justice. As a performer on the track this spring, Apsley won the 400m hurdles at the MAC Championships with a time of 53.05 which ranked first in the region and broke a 15-year-old school record in the process.

Bono posted a 3.53 spring GPA as a sport management major. The thrower put together an outstanding season, culminating in a 10th-place finish at the NCAA Championships to earn Second Team NCAA All-American honors. Bono earned a silver medal at the MAC Championships, earned USTFCCCA All-Region honors as he ranked second in the region, and rewrote his own school record with a top throw of 64.64m.

Weachter exceeded the minimum academic standard for the award with a perfect 4.0 spring term GPA as a mechanical engineering major. In the field, the Spartan pole vaulter captured the gold medal at the MAC Championships and ranked third regionally with a personal-best height of 4.68m which earned him USTFCCCA All-Region honors.
