YORK, PA – The York College softball team dropped their regular season home finale as the #8 Salisbury University Sea Gulls swept the Spartans on a windy and chilly Wednesday afternoon in York.

How It Happened
• The Sea Gulls scored single runs in the second, third, fourth and fifth innings to take a 4-0 lead heading into the bottom of the fifth inning. That would be more than enough for the Salisbury ace Sydney Adolfson as she carried a perfect game into the bottom of the fifth. Spartan third baseman

• The Sea Gulls put the game away with a four-run sixth inning as the eight run rule kicked in, ending the game when the Spartans went in order in the bottom of the sixth.
