Spartan Men Have Strong All-Around Performance at Home Twilight Meet

YORK, Pa. – The York men's track and field team captured three first-place finishes and 10 top-three finishes Wednesday night at the York Twilight Meet.

Top Performers
Brayden Ecker had the top overall performance for the Spartans as he finished first in the pole vault in record-setting fashion. Ecker raised his own school record to 4.90m and became the first vaulter in school history to clear 16 feet. His height is first in the Middle Atlantic Conference and tied for 11th in Division III this season.

Shaun Apsley captured first in the 400m hurdles with a winning time of 55.66 seconds.

The 4x800 relay team consisting of Joshua Smoot, Seth Topfer, Tylor Druckemiller and Pierce Nolan combined for a winning time of 8:21.97 which is second in the MAC this season.
