YORK, PA – York College senior forward
Kai Cipalla has been selected to play in the 2025 NABC Senior All-Star game this Saturday, March 22, in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Cipalla was one of 20 student-athletes from around the country picked to play in the annual game. He was the lone player from Region V selected to the game.
The game will be held in conjunction with the NCAA Division III Men's Basketball championship as the senior game will tip off at 1:00 pm and precede the national championship game on Saturday at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.
Cipalla is the fifth Spartan to earn a berth in the Senior All-Star game. He joins Paul Kouvaris (2012), Dalton Myers (2018),
Jason Bady (2019), and
Jared Wagner (2020) as Spartans who have been named to the All-Star squad.
Cipalla had a banner year for the Spartans as he was named the MAC Commonwealth Player of the Year in leading York to its first MAC Commonwealth crown. The Spartans finished the year 22-7 and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament before losing to #1 NYU 62-52.
The game will be broadcast through d3hoops.com and the viewing link will go live later this week.
