Rowe, Landis Earn All-Conference Honors

NEWTOWN, Pa. - Two members of the York College men's basketball team received recognition as the Middle Atlantic Conference announced its all-conference teams and end-of-season awards on Wednesday.

Jayden Rowe put together statistically the best offensive season in York men's basketball history as he set the single-season point record with 706 points and scoring record with a 26.1 points-per-game average. Rowe led the conference in both of those categories, eclipsing the Commonwealth Player of the Year, Jevon Yarbrough, by 16 more total points and 0.5 more points per game in the same amount of contests.

Rowe ranked top-10 in the Commonwealth rebounding with a team-leading average of 7.1 rebounds per game. He compiled five double-double performances on the season with four against conference opponents, including his final two games. The senior also ranked second in the league in made three-pointers (71), third in blocked shots (45) and fifth in assists (86).

Tate Landis closed out his Spartan career with his best statistical season as he set career-highs in most major categories with 14.0 points per game, 50 three-pointers, 106 made free throws, 96 assists and 93 total rebounds. York's leading assist man ranked fourth in the Commonwealth in both assists and assists per game (3.6), while his team-leading 49 steals also ranked fourth in the league. He also ranked second in the conference with a 1.7 assist-to-turnover ratio.

Landis ended with 962 career points, while ranking seventh in program history in made three-pointers (151), 10th in assists (277), fourth in steals (182), fifth in steals per game (1.7) and tied for the 10th-most games played (107).

The York men's basketball program now has seven All-MAC Commonwealth selections since earning its first in 2022. The breakdown of honorees includes four first team selections, two second team selections and one honorable mention.
