Tenney, Blaker Earn All-MAC Honors to Lead Spartans to Top-Five Finish

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. - The York College women's cross country team finished 5th out of 14 teams with two all-conference performers at the Middle Atlantic Conference Championship hosted by Delaware Valley University on Saturday.

The Spartans earned their second top-five finish of the season and second at the MAC Championship since joining the league in 2021 as they scored 165 points. Lebanon Valley claimed the team title for the first time in program history with 52 points, followed by Misericordia (55 points), Messiah (87 points) and Stevens (154).

Junior Isabel Tenney and freshman Sierra Blaker both finished under the top-30 threshold to  earn all-conference honors. Tenney led the way for York for the fifth-consecutive race this season as she finished 22nd out of 137 runners to earn a spot on the All-MAC Third Team. Blaker also earned third-team honors as she finished 26th with a time of 26:36.5. Tenney and Blaker became the first Spartan women since 2022 to earn all-conference honors.

Sophomore Kayla Reidenbaugh missed out on all-conference honors by one spot as she finished 31st with a time of 24:48.6.

The next four Spartans were separated by just 14 spots, led by sophomore Angelina Hammond who finished 49 with a time of 25:53.2. Freshman Lily Arnold ranked fifth in the Spartan lineup with a 52nd-place finish with a pace of 25:54.8.

Junior Taylor Wickard finished 59th with a time of 26:09.0 and freshman Samantha Sterner rounded out the Spartan top-seven in 63rd place with a time of 26:18.4.

The Spartans return to the course on Saturday, November 15 at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Championship hosted by Dickinson College at Big Spring High School in Newville, Pa.
