How It Happened
• The Spartans had an early flurry in the ninth minute.

Colin Findlay slipped a pass into the box where a hard-charging Huey collected the pass and hammered home a shot for the 1-0 lead.
• The Green and White carried the play the remainder of the half as they out-shot the Blazers 8-1 including 3-0 in shots on goal in the first 45 minutes of play. York also had the only three corners in the first half.
• The Spartans made it 2-0 in the 56
th minute as Huey received a pass in the box. He was surrounded by Blazers so he flipped a pass to the outside of the box. Freshman
Philip Titiloye hit an absolute rocket into the upper left 90 for the two-goal lead. The Green and White tacked on a third goal in the 78
th minute as
Aiden Hall dribbled in from the left side of the box and unleashed a wicked shot that found the back of the net for his first goal of the year.
• The Spartans finished the game with a commanding 15-6 bulge in total shots including a 6-2 margin in shots on goal. York held an 8-1 margin in corner kicks for the game.
