How It Happened
After four early lead changes, the Spartans pulled away to a 25-20 victory in the first set. York used a big 13-5 run to turn an 8-8 tie into a 21-13 lead and used that momentum to clinch the opening frame. Kendall Jenkins and Georgianna Kahley each tallied a pair of kills on York's match-clinching run. Kahley also led all players with seven digs in the set.

The Spartans nearly led from start to finish on their way to a 25-15 win in the second set. York opened with an 8-1 run, fueled by a pair of kills by Morgan Nolte, which set the tone as the Spartans held the upper hand the rest of the set.

Aside from a tie midway through the third set, the York led wire-to-wire to claim a 25-16 victory and clinched the match. The Spartans stormed out of a 12-12 by ending the match on a 13-4 run with Jillian Kloc leading the way with three kills and Nolte adding a pair.
