(RV) York 9-7 (6-0 MACC)
Hood 8-8 (2-4 MACC)

How It Happened
Michael Russo tallied twice in the first quarter and sparked a three-goal run to end the period as the Spartans owned a 4-1 lead after one quarter of play. York goalie Nash Womack posted four saves in the opening quarter to lead a superb Spartan defensive effort.

The Blazers matched the Spartans goal for goal in the second quarter as each team netted a pair which put York ahead, 6-3, at the halftime break.

York took control of the game with a dominant third quarter as the Green and White racked up five tallies on five different scores and won six of seven faceoffs while holding the Blazers to just three total shots in the period.

The Spartans put a bow on the game by out-scoring the Blazers 4-1 in the fourth quarter with four different goal scorers.

Cory Bergmann led all players with a career-high three goals ... Will Harnick sadly saw his goal streak come to an end Wednesday night which spanned three different seasons and 42-straight games.
