How It Happened
The Pride had the momentum in their favor early as they went up 2-0 nine minutes in on goals by Jessica Mantz and Catherine Scott. Gianna Huet finally put York on the board with 5:32 left in the first quarter and the momentum quickly shifted in York's favor as the Spartans scored  three more times to take a 4-2 lead at the end of one period of play.

The Spartans' late first-quarter run extended into an 11-0 run which stretched into the third quarter. Huet and Madison Kurland each netted a hat trick during that run and Zoe Kluegel posted three points with a goal and an assist.

Scott scored again with 5:07 left in the third quarter which snapped a 31-minute scoreless streak for the pride. Mantz also tallied her second goal of the game later in third quarter and that  would be the final tally of the day for the Pride.

The Spartans went on to shutout Widener in the fourth quarter as they held the Pride to just  three total shots and zero draw controls. Campbell netted her third tally of the day in the final quarter and was joined by Kate Walsh, Leah Vacin and Juliana Silvernale on the scoresheet.
