How It Happened
A defensive battle ensued through the first three innings as each team registered one hit a piece, but no runs crossed the plate for either side.

Harrisburg broke up the scoreless game in the fourth with four runs on three hits. Lillian Feltenberger started the rally with a two-run single to center and the Lions tacked on a pair of RBI-singles to finish the inning.

The Spartans put a run on the board in top of the sixth on a Bri McKeown RBI-single down the right field line. With no outs, the Spartans had an opportunity to tack on more and mount a late comeback, but Harrisburg worked out of the sixth without allowing another run.

York had chances down the stretch, but left a total of five runners stranded through the final three innings. Harrisburg took advantage of York's offensive woes and scored three more runs in the sixth to seal up the win in game one.

How It Happened
After five-straight scoreless innings for both teams to start game two, York put the only runs of the game on the board in the sixth inning. Daphney Adams got things going with a RBI-double which brought around Gretchen Barstad to score the game's first run. Alexis McDonaugh kept the rally going with a RBI-single which brought Adams home. McKeown registered her second RBI of the day with a sacrifice fly which brought win Emma Wade for the game's final run.

Kyrsten Coppage went on to retire the Lions in order in the bottom of the sixth to seal the win. The Spartan freshman allowed just three hits on the day and no-hit Harrisburg in the last three frames as she registered her first-career complete game shutout.

The win for York snapped Harrisburg's five-game win streak entering the day.
