YORK, PA – The York College men's swim squad wrapped up day three of the 2024 Middle Atlantic Conference on Saturday at Graham Aquatic Center in York.
The Spartans fell back one spot as they are now third with 815 points. Stevens continues to lead the men's team race with 1,058 points while Widener passed York with 829 points. Arcadia is a distant fourth with 687.5 points while Misericordia rounds out the top five with 563 points.
The Spartans had a strong showing in the 200 fly as four Spartans captured top 16 finishes.
Leo Ott led the way with a fifth-place finish with a time of 1:57.79. Teammate
Alex Daniele was right behind him in sixth with a time of 1:57.97. Senior
Matthew Peters placed eighth with a time of 2:00.71. Fellow senior
Connor Spillman placed 16
th for the Spartans with a time of 2:04.36.
Senior
Collin Draminski finished fourth in the 100 backstroke as he recorded a time of 53.23.
The Spartans capped the night with a second-place finish in the 800 free relay. The foursome of
Braeden Emore,
Liam Perrin, Ott, and
Bryan Collins combined to post a time of 7:02.35 for the silver medal.
