Women’s Cross Country Takes Seventh at MAC Championship

GRANTHAM, Pa. - The Spartan women's cross country team finished seventh out of 13 teams at the 2024 Middle Atlantic Conference Women's Cross Country Championship on Saturday hosted by Messiah University.

Pre-championship favorite Misericordia won the team title for the second-consecutive year and seventh time overall. Widener (73 pts.), Lebanon Valley (90 pts.), Messiah (121 pts.) and Stevens (125 pts.) rounded out the top-five.

The Spartans have finished seventh or better twice since joining the conference for the 2021 season.

Isabel Tenney led the way for York as she finished 32 with a time of 25:04.9, just missing out on All-MAC honors which cuts off at 30th place. Lindsay Fry (33rd) and Kayla Reidenbaugh (38th) also finished inside the top-40.
