GRANTHAM, Pa. - The Spartan men's cross country team finished seventh out of 16 teams at the 2024 Middle Atlantic Conference Men's Cross Country Championship on Saturday at Messiah University.

Pre-championship favorite Lebanon Valley won the team title with 34 points, followed by Misericordia (71), Messiah (77), DeSales (98) and Stevens (168) in the top-five.

The Spartans have finished seventh or better in all four MAC Championship meets they've competed in starting with 2021.

Tyler Hunt earned Second Team All-MAC honors with his 12th-place finish at a pace of 27:10.3. Hunt is now a two-time All-MAC performer after finishing 15th at last year's championship meet which also earned him second-team honors. He is just the second Spartan in program history to earn multiple All-MAC honors as he joins three-time performer and teammate Jack Roseboom.
