YORK, PA - York College senior Tyler Hunt has been named the OSS Health Spartan Athlete of the Week after a strong finish this weekend at Gettysburg.

Hunt had a great day at the Aubrey Shenk Invitational hosted by Gettysburg College on Saturday. Hunt powered the Spartans to a fifth place finish out of 20 teams. 

Hunt finished the race fifth of 226 runners in the event as he crossed the line in a career-best time of 25:30.0 Hunt was the first Division III runner to cross the finish line in the large race. 

Hunt has recorded four top 35 finishes in as many invitationals this year including Saturday's fifth and 15th at the Messiah Invitational.
