YORK, PA – The York College men's swim team opened their own Spartan Splash Invitational on Friday in York.
After day one, the Spartans sit second with 266 points. Bridgewater leads the way with 277.5 points. Hood is third at 196.5 points while Cabrini (85) and Albright (25) round out the invitational field.
The Spartans had seven individual finals performances while the 200 free relay set a school record. The foursome of
Collin Draminski,
Bryan Collins,
Nick Bordovsky, and
James Lyon combined to win the race in a record time of 1:24.88. Draminski also set a new school record with his 50 free split as he clocked in with a record time of 21.12.
Matthew Peters was York's top finisher on Friday as he placed second in the 200 IM.
Liam Perrin and Draminski each earned third place finishes. Perrin was third in the 500 free while Draminski was third in the 50 free.
