Team Records
#6 York 11-2 (5-0 MACC)
Hood (6-7, 1-4 MACC)

How It Happened
The Spartans found themselves in rare territory as the Blazers went on top first, marking just the second time this season (RIT) when York did not score the first goal of the game. The deficit was short-lived as the Spartans ripped off a pair of goals 24 seconds apart less than to take the lead for good.

York went on a 14-goal run following Hood's first tally before the Blazers finally got back on the board with 33 seconds left in the second quarter. Will Harnick hung five goals on the board in the first half, in addition to a pair of assists as York out-shot the Blazers, 37-15. Ames Clark compiled a first-half hat trick to go along with an assist.

The Blazers were shutout in the third quarter as they coughed up possession 10 times in the period with Ethan Greene causing two of those turnovers and Matty Mancuso causing another.

After just three goals were scored in the third quarter, the two teams combined for 12 in the fourth with York owning an 8-4 edge. Nick Lilly led all scorers with two in the quarter.

Up Next
The Spartans wrap up their four-game road trip with a trip to No. 15 Gettysburg.

Notes
York is now 7-0 all-time against Hood as the two teams met for the first time since 2012 and the first as Commonwealth members … York is now 6-0 away from Kinsley Field this season in road and neutral site games with wins over two ranked teams in those contests.
