GLASSBORO, N.J. – The York College Spartans dropped a 6-1 decision at #9 Rowan University on Tuesday afternoon. The Spartans faced their seventh ranked opponent in their 14 games so far this season.

How It Happened
• The Spartans got on the board two hitters into the game as shortstop
Austin Denlinger drilled his second home run of the year, a solo shot to give York a 1-0 lead. The Profs tied the game in the bottom of the inning as Ryan Mostrangeli hit a sacrifice fly to center scoring Ryan Murphy.
• The Profs took the lead in the fourth as Mostrageli doubled, move to third on a single. He came around to score on an Eric DiDomenico sacrifice fly to center as Rowan took a 2-1 lead.
• Rowan made it 4-1 in the sixth with a pair of hits and a walk. Anthony Schooley had an RBI single while Chris Curcio had a sacrifice fly to push the lead to three.
• Schooley closed out the scoring in the seventh with a two run double to provide for the final score of 6-1.
• After Denlinger's first inning home run, the Spartans would get just one more hit, a
Garrett Kile single in the seventh. York did draw four walks in the game
