The Chargers got a pair of Spartan service errors, an attack error and a Dodrer kill to earn a 27-25 win to seize control of the match. York had six service errors in the set which proved to be costly to the hosts.
• The Spartans raced out to a 10-4 lead as six different Spartans had kills during the run. York pushed the lead to 12 at 18-6 thanks to an 8-2 run. The Chargers scored three of the next four points before the Spartans closed out the set with five straight points.
