SALISBURY, MD – The York College men's swim squad opened their 2022-23 season with a trip to Salisbury on Saturday. The Sea Gulls bested their former Capital Athletic Conference rivals as Salisbury earned a 179-82 victory. The Spartans fall to 0-1 while Salisbury improves to 3-0 as all three of their meets have come at the Maggs Physical Activities Center Swimming Pool.
The Spartans got a trio of first place finishes led by
Aaron Keifer as he won a pair of events. Keifer was victorious in the 200 free and the 100 free.
Collin Draminski earned York's other win as he touched the wall first in the 100 backstroke. Draminski also earned a third in the 200 backstroke. Keifer and Draminski were also a part of the winning 200 medley relay team and a 200 free relay runner-up finish.
