SALISBURY, MD – The York College men's swim squad opened up their final season in the Capital Athletic Conference with a 142-107 win over Salisbury in the league opener for both squads on Saturday.
The Spartans had a banner day with seven individual wins on the day. Connor McIlroy and Greg Williams each picked up a pair of wins. Charlie Green earned his first collegiate victory as he won the 800 free. Freshman Aaron Keifer also earned his first collegiate win as he was victorious in the 100 fly. Junior Jake Halem earned a win in his second straight meet as he touched the wall first in the 100 free.
Drew Newman notched a trio of second place finishes while Michael Federline recorded a pair of runner up finishes.
