MIDDLETOWN, PA – The York College women's volleyball squad picked up their second Capital Athletic Conference win of the year as they downed Penn State Harrisburg 3-0 in league play on Wednesday night in Middletown, PA.

How It Happened

• The first set was back and forth early as they teams were tied three times with the final time coming at 12-12. York ripped off a 10-2 run to take a 22-14 lead. The Lions cut the York lead to five but that's as close as they got the rest of the set as York earned the 25-19 set one win.

• The second set was another close one as neither team could get on a run. The set was tied 11 times before the Spartans went on an 8-4 run to take a 23-19 lead. York scored two of the final four points of the set to take the 2-0 lead.

• Much like the first two sets, the teams went back and forth as there were five ties before the Green and White went on a 9-4 run to push out to a 17-12 lead. The Lions trimmed the Spartan lead to three before York pulled away for the 25-20 win.
