CARLISLE, PA – The York College volleyball squad got back on track on Saturday as they posted a pair of 3-0 victories during the second day of the 2016 York College Invitational in York. The Spartans downed Albright 3-0 followed by a 3-0 win over Wilson.

The Spartans finished 3-1 at the 2016 York College Volleyball Invitational … York is now 50-13 in the 11-year history of the tournament … Marietta won the tournament as they were the lone 4-0 team … York has won at least three games in the tournament in seven seasons … York is now 5-0 all-time against Albright in the tournament … the tournament concludes the regular season tournament schedule for the Spartans as all their remaining dates are single matches … York only has two remaining non-conference matches left.

What's Next:

The Spartans return to action on Wednesday evening when they host McDaniel College in a non-conference contest. The match will be the fifth of a season-high seven game home stand. The match is slated for a 7:00 pm start in York.
