YORK, PA – The York College men's tennis team snapped a four-match losing streak as they downed Frostburg State University 5-1 in a Capital Athletic Conference match indoors at the Wisehaven Tennis Club in York, PA. The Spartans improve to 5-6 overall and 1-4 in the conference while the Bobcats fall to 1-10 overall and 0-5 in the league.
Since the teams were playing indoors, the squads played to decision as York only needed six flights to earn the win.

The windy and cold conditions forced the teams to go inside for the conference match … the air temperature was 35 degrees at the scheduled start time in York … Zach Hanson's singles win gives him a record of 6-5 as he now leads the team in singles victories for the year … Joel Hess and Lukas Olson are now 2-1 in doubles play.
What's Next:
The Spartans return to action on Sunday as they will host Christopher Newport in a Capital Athletic Conference match. The match will be played at Wisehaven for the second day in a row as the morning forecast is for more cold and wind on Sunday morning. The match is slated for a 9:00 am start.
