evening with a 3-1 victory over the visiting St. Mary's

several kills in the game including a pair of rockets.
In the second game, St. Mary's recorded five of the first
seven points taking the wind out of the Spartan's

back eventually taking at 29-27 lead but unfortunately could not
close out St. Mary's in regulation and the game went to extra
points. Up 35-34, York libero Laura Krajewski
(Livonia, Mich./Stevenson) made an incredible sprawling
dig that led to a Jaclyn Davis (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry
Hill East) kill for the game victory.
Facing a deflated St. Mary's squad in the fourth game, the
Spartans forced the Seahawks into a pair of time-outs during the
frame as all the momentum belonged to the green and white.
Alishia Waltermyer (Brogue, Pa./Red Lion) finished
off the match for the Spartans as the freshman tallied her 13th
kill of the evening. Waltermyer's kills gave the
Spartan's the 30-27 game victory and the 3-1 match win.

notched 13 kills and three block assists. Davis played
extremely well for the home squad garnering ten kills in just two
games including the crucial score in the match's third
frame. Katie Hertz (Glenville, Pa./Delone
Catholic) continued her strong 2007 production as she
registered 55 assists to go along with 14 digs.
Krajewski played one of her better matches of the season
recording 31 digs. The senior also gave the visitors fits on
her serve, garnering three service aces and causing numerous
Seahawk errors.

kills while also contributing a pair of block solos and a trio of
block assists. Claire Kodan and Sarah Gregorini each recorded
