Biography

Steph Mergler enters her junior year looking to continue to beone of the Spartans’ most dangerous players. Mergler, who hastallied 29 career points in two years, will be moving up to theforward position full time in 2009. She is a very hard worker thathas put herself in position to be one of the elite players in theCapital Athletic???Conference. She notched 14 points on four goalsand a team-leading six assists last year, numbers the coachingstaff expects to improve in 2009. Mergler will serve the Spartansas a captain this year as she is an outstanding leader both on andoff the field.
