In 2026, Coach Kelly Wakeman is entering her 7th season at the helm of the Spartan women’s soccer program. She has guided the program to a NCAA Tournament appearance and five-straight conference tournament berths. Wakeman is the second women’s soccer coach in the program's history with a 63-28-11 overall record and holds the highest career winning percentage (.672) in program history.

  • In 2021, 2023 and 2025, the Spartans tied the school record for most wins in single season (13)
  • In the 2025 season, the Spartans had 12 shutouts, ranking them third in program history
  • Five appearances in the MAC Commonwealth tournament, four in the championship game 
  • Led the Spartans in snapping Messiah’s historic 144-0-6 conference unbeaten streak, winning 1-0
