CAREER STATISTICS AND CAREER HIGHS

2011: Enters his second season in with the Spartan squad looking to push for time in the goal … is a tall, athletic, and strong goalkeeper … has the physical attributes to be a top-flight netminder … excellent shot-stopper … possesses quality experience having played at a high level prior to arriving at York.

2010: Played in six games for the Spartans ... served as York's #2 goalkeeper during the season ... was between the pipes for 76 minutes during the season ... part of York's fifth Capital Athletic Conference Tournament championship and sixth straight appearance in the NCAA Tournament.

Prior to York: Played at Wilmington University in Delaware for two seasons … was named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Men’s Soccer Player-of-the-Week on August 31, 2009 after leading his squad to a 2-0 record and the Wilmington University Invitational title … 2009 Wildcat team ranked as high as #9 in Division II … team reached the 2009 NCAA Tournament.
 
Personal: Is a criminal justice major … is the son of Pat and Cathy Kavanagh … born October 26, 1990 … played club soccer for Pittsgrove FC … was a first-team tri-county choice in high school … was a 2007 South Jersey All-State selection as a prep player … names his father as the person he most admires … hobbies including lifting weights and hanging out with friends … favorite athletes are Brian Dawkins and Anderson Silva … chose York because of the "great campus and team atmosphere" … most significant athletic achievement is being named Rookie-of-the-Week during his freshman season … his most memorable athletic moment while at York is winning the 2010 CAC Tournament championship ... after graduation he plans on enlisting in the Army MP and going into the DEA.
