Biography

Julie Norris begins her first year in the Green and White aftertransferring to York from Frederick Community College. Norris, whowas a two-time N.J.C.A.A. first-team selection at Frederick, hasmade a position change as she moves behind the plate for theSpartans. Norris is a very smart player that has made the positionchange without any problems. She has a strong arm and is very agilebehind the plate. Offensively, Norris has a quick bat that will hitfor a high average and some power. She will be an outstandingcompliment to a very strong Spartan offense. Norris is a businessmanagement major and is the daughter of Pete and Cathy Norris.
