Biography

Matt Swiderski opens his second season with the York squadlooking to capitalize on a rookie campaign in which he showedcontinual development. A big, strong athlete, Swiderski has thepotential to play a variety of positions for the Green and White.As a forward, he has the ability to hold the ball and bring othersinto the attack. Lining up as a central defender, his intelligenceand simple play allow him to win balls and maintain possession.Following a full year of experience, including a strong offseason,Swiderski could see quality minutes in 2009.
